About Our Scholarships

Generous community members who hold funds with HCCF have established scholarships to help make education more accessible for students in our community. Through HCCF’s partnership with the CICF Collaborative, HCCF scholarships are combined with additional scholarships from fundholders of other entities within CICF Collaborative, including CICF, the Indianapolis Foundation, and Women’s Fund of Central Indiana. CICF administers the scholarship application and award process, providing a streamlined experience for students.

Scholarship awards depend on the size of each scholarship fund and the number of qualified applicants. Awards must be used for educational expenses at an accredited college, university, or technical, vocational, or trade school. Eligible expenses include:

  • Tuition
  • Required fees
  • Room and board (in some cases)
  • Books (in some cases)

Students must submit all required application materials online by the deadline to ensure award decisions are made in a timely manner.

Scholarship Opportunities for All Educational Paths

Our scholarship opportunities support students pursuing many types of education, including:

  1. Colleges and Universities
  2. Vocational, Trade, and Technical Schools
  3. Other Accredited Programs
